• Designed to run on a direct current with reverse polarity as well as alternating current.
• Used for the welding of Ferralium 255 and duplex stainless steels which contain approximately 25% chromium.
• The weld metal deposit of these electrodes has a “duplex” microstructure which consists of an austenite-ferrite matrix.
• It's weld deposit combines an increased tensile strength with an improved resistance to pitting, corrosive attack and to stress corrosion cracking.
